ND:CE:YAG CRYSTAL NO FURTHER A MYSTERY

Radiation induced recharging of Ce3+ and Ce4+ ions in Ce and Nd doped yttrium-aluminium garnet crystals was observed. This result depends on the Ce3+ ion focus and the type of ionizing radiation.The outcome show that the growth ambiance strain has a more major influence on defect development in comparison to the crystal rotation level. Moreover, lo
